ABOUT JENNIFER DIAMOND

Jennifer Diamond’s life has always been shaped by horses, discipline, and the quiet determination that comes from growing up overseas in a military family. Born into a household that valued resilience and service, Jennifer spent thirteen pivotal years of her childhood in Germany, where she discovered dressage and the classical principles that would define her entire career.

She began riding at seven years old, and by her early teens she was training and competing through the FEI Junior and Young Rider divisions. Germany was more than a home — it was an education in refinement, precision, and the art of developing horses through time, patience, and feel. Those experiences became the foundation of her identity as an athlete.

After returning to the United States, Jennifer eventually went back to Europe as an apprentice and young trainer, deepening her understanding of classical theory, biomechanics, and the relationship between horse and rider. Her years abroad shaped her into a rider who values thoughtful development over shortcuts and who believes in honoring the horse above all else.

Jennifer’s lifelong mentor has been her mother, Colleen Diamond, a classical dressage trainer who instilled in her a technical clarity and standard of excellence that have guided every phase of her development. Together with German-trained FEI coach Peter Borggreve, Jennifer has built a professional support system that reflects the same values she learned as a young rider in Europe: discipline, integrity, and a relentless commitment to the craft.

Today, Jennifer is recognized for her ability to develop horses methodically and ethically, her deep classical roots, and her calm, intuitive connection with the animals in her care. After more than twenty years of training, studying, and competing at a high level, she is now entering the most significant chapter of her athletic journey — pursuing qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

From Germany to Colorado, from childhood passion to professional mastery, Jennifer’s story is one of long-form dedication, classical education, and an unwavering belief in what is possible when a rider stays true to both the art and the discipline of dressage.

Boarding, Training, Sales

Our boarding philosophy is simple: horses thrive when their environment is consistent, peaceful, and purposefully managed. Diamond Dressage maintains a boutique number of horses to ensure every horse receives the attention and quality of care required for long-term, FEI-aligned development.

Boarding

Boarding at Diamond Dressage is available exclusively to horses enrolled in Jennifer’s training program. This ensures a cohesive environment where each horse receives consistent, top-quality care aligned with its training needs.

Training

Training options include:

Full Training: Five to six sessions per week; tailored schooling, conditioning, groundwork, and structured development
Partial Training: Customized weekly riding and/or groundwork sessions to support specific goals
Upper-Level & FEI Training: Enhancing collection, lateral work, ring presence, and competition readiness

Sales

Jennifer offers sales services on a highly selective basis. Known for her honesty and classical eye, she represents only horses that meet her strict standards for soundness, quality, and long-term potential. Horses sold through Diamond Dressage are thoughtfully developed, correctly represented, and placed with care to ensure the right match for both horse and rider.

Sales inquiries are welcomed on a limited basis.

Hulsebos Saddles

Custom saddle for D'Vinci -Hulsebos Saddles is a family company founded in 1910. Today, Hulsebos Saddles benefits from the experience of the more than 100 years, over three generations, in the industry. Jan’s grandfather established his saddlery in the Gelderland Province of Holland, home of the Gelder’s Horse which was the foundation for the modern KWPN. As with the KWPN, all horse breeds have evolved into the more modern horses we enjoy today. In order to better understand the biomechanics of the horse and rider and to know exactly what the top-level riders expect from their horses, Jan Hulsebos consults with veterinarians, physical therapists, chiropractors and top riders. With the expert information gained from these contributors, he continues to develop saddles that bring horses and riders in BALANCE!
